The FEST has many features and is everything else than a boringly normal pop festival. While the names of the top acts have increasingly become more attracting and finesounding, the regional scene provides about half of the concerts for the music stage. Since 1991 there has been a separate theater stage. Furthermore, there is a children play ground for the little ones, and in a little distance the youth stage with hiphop- or techno events has been set up. The programme’s variety is reflected in the diversity of the visitors. There are no barriers between generations at DAS FEST, here you can take helpfulness and friendliness for granted. DAS FEST preserved its openness in all directions over the years.
