Description:
Once started as a local festival, DEICHBRAND Festival at the North Sea is now one of the most popular music festivals in Germany. Around 100 bands, live-acts, DJs and poetry slammer perform on five stages over four days. Around 45,000 freaks and folks, fans and friends enjoy a colourful programme of rock, metal, pop, hip-hop and electronic music in a fantastic atmosphere. The artists as well as the audience love the concept of the two alternating main stages.
Despite the huge festival size, DEICHBRAND Festival sticks to it’s intention to be a familiar festival with short walking distances for all ages. According to it’s geographic position directly at the North Sea the visitors have the opportunity to attend activities like wakeboarding, kitesurfing or beach volleyball in cooperation with the festival.
