Description

Slottsfjell was established in 2003. Within a few years, the festival developed into one of Norway’s most popular and important festivals.

The public attendance during the festival days was over 60,000 at most. The festival has been known for booking a broad program and has often been early in booking artists who have later become world stars.

Due to the corona pandemic and as part of the re-establishment, the festival had not been held since 2018. In 2022, we had the pleasure of presenting a renewed version of Slottsfjell adapted to a new decade after four years of dormancy.

The festival has moved down from Slottsfjellet to an exciting area just four minutes’ walk from the pier in Tønsberg. Here you can experience the festival of the future out at Kaldnes on the Nøtterøy side of the city fjord, surrounded by an archipelago and the cry of seagulls. In the area you will find three large outdoor stages, concept stage, nightclub, food hall, beach, lawns and parks. There are several lounge areas and places where everyone can take a break.

The music profile at Slottsfjell is broad and varied. With us, you will experience some of the biggest international and national stars, but also find your new favourite artist. In addition, Slottsfjell is more than just music. Here, you can wander through our food hall with an exciting and wide range of food, cool concept bars and experiences. In the festival area, you will also find lounges and pleasant places where you can retreat. Whatever the mood, you will find an area that suits you. The festival area also has its own sandy beach that takes you to southern latitudes with lapping waves, palm trees and tropical rhythms.

When the sound from the main stage has died down, Slottsfjell, as the only Norwegian festival, can invite guests to the country’s biggest nightclub! With a capacity to house approx. half of the festival guests, we are building a completely insane club inspired by the TV series Berlin Babylon. Here, international and national DJs and artists will ensure the party of the ages until the sun comes up.

Slottsfjell is not just music.

We are much, much more, and you don’t want to miss this!
