The brochure “Sustainable organisation – now!” published by the City of Leipzig is a guide to sustainable event planning and implementation. It is not specifically tailored to festivals, but provides some basic food for thought. It covers the topics of mobility, social responsibility, food and drink, waste management and communication.

It also includes a checklist of the measures presented and a list of important labels, e.g. in the areas of food, transport and energy.

Die Broschüre “Nachhaltig veranstalten – jetzt!” der Stadt Leipzig ist ein Leitfaden zur nachhaltigen Planung und Durchführung von Veranstaltungen. Er ist nicht speziell auf Festivals zugeschnitten, gibt aber einige grundsätzliche Denkanstöße. Er behandelt die Themen Mobilität, soziale Verantwortung, Essen und Trinken, Abfallmanagement und Kommunikation.

Enthalten sind außerdem eine Checkliste der präsentierten Maßnahmen und eine Liste wichtiger Siegel z. B. im Bereich Essen, Transport und Energie.
