Description

Doing things differently is what the Dour Festival offers during 5 days of love and alternative music. 5 days during which festival-goers live an unusual adventure, sharing unique moments thanks to a singular musical line-up.

For its 31st edition, which took place from Wednesday 10 July to Sunday 14 July 2019, the Dour Festival has reinvented itself once again, with an even greater focus on artistic content. The festival welcomed more than 251,000 people, all coming from the four corners of Europe and sometimes even from far beyond. With this new record-breaking attendance, the Dour Festival is more than ever strengthening its status as amongst Belgian’s biggest musical and touristic event, and asserting its place in the range of Europe’s biggest festivals.

Genre & Program

The Dour Festival programme juggles the genres and aesthetics of music. Almost every musical style is represented, including Pop, House, Punk, Hardcore, Rock, Post-Rock, Hip-Hop, Metal, Indie, Drum and Bass, Electro, R&B, Reggae, Ska, Noise, Independent Rock and Techno. Dour Festival is known as the biggest alternative music event of Belgium.
