Description:

The Trans Musicales festival is considered as the springboard for tomorrow’s talents. This festival presents artists coming from all around the world and mixes traditional with world music, electronic music, hip hop, rock & jazz … Many musicians but also varied artists, from visual artists to street entertainers, coming from all around the world have performed at the festival since 1979. The Trans Festival is a musical trip where people discover new or unknown sounds, where the artistic melting pot creates a magic atmosphere. For three days, the main venue “PARC EXPO” (separated into three stages) is the heart of the Trans Musicales (stage, animations, V.I.P places, bars, food outlets, …).

In 2008, for the 30th edition, the festival returned to the town centre, with many venues for varied performances (Trans Village, stages for music and dance, cinemas, debates, …). The 30th edition theme was entitled “Chroniques Européennes” inside the cultural program for the French presidency of the European Union. In 2019, the festival celebrated its 40th anniversary.
