In 2021, Sofia Live Festival received huge attention and unprecedented success at its first edition. The event, which is the newest addition to Bulgaria’s music calendar, is an innovative urban culture and music festival that follows European standards aiming to create and foster connections between people through music. This event received immense media coverage in Bulgaria and abroad, with national broadcaster BTV naming Sofia Live Festival the ”Event of 2021”.

Sofia Live Festival takes place in the garden of King Boris the 3rd, at the Cycling track and has additional indoor venue shows at Sofia Live Club.

The genres of Sofia Live Festival range between modern Jazz, Electronic music, Hip-Hop, Rock, Funk and Punk, as its main focus is the presentation of internationally-sounding original music created by young Bulgarian musicians.

Sofia Live Festival is also an innovative initiative for urban culture and music following high European standards. In 2022, Sofia Live Festival expanded its capacity, days and music programme, keeping the event’s objectives of supporting the national music scene, arts, development of audiences, creative solutions and diversity.
