This guide from Green Events is aimed at all event organisers and sets out goals and measures for sustainable events. 10 fields of action highlight ecological, social and economic aspects: corporate management & organisational culture, event venue, stand operators & concept, climate protection measures, procurement, materials & waste management, accommodation, catering, social aspects & inclusion, communication, economic sustainability.

Developed jointly by Green Events Hamburg and the Hamburg Ministry for the Environment, Climate, Energy and Agriculture (BUKEA). Existing guidelines were analysed as the basis for the handbook and a draft was developed with the participation of more than 100 event organisers, employees from districts and specialist agencies, municipal institutions and civil society. The guide also contains digitally clickable checklists for all ten fields of action.

Diese Handreichung von Green Events richtet sich an alle Veranstaltenden und zeigt Ziele und Maßnahmen für nachhaltiges Veranstalten auf. 10 Handlungsfelder beleuchten ökologische, soziale und ökonomische Aspekte: Unternehmensführung & Organisationskultur, Veranstaltungsstätte, Standbetreiber*innen & Konzept, Klimaschutzmaßnahmen, Beschaffung, Material & Abfallmanagement, Unterkunft, Gastronomie, soziale Aspekte & Inklusion, Kommunikation, wirtschaftliche Nachhaltigkeit.

Gemeinsam entwickelt von Green Events Hamburg und der Hamburger Behörde für Umwelt, Klima, Energie und Agrarwirtschaft (BUKEA). Als Grundlage der Handreichung wurden bestehende Leitfäden analysiert und unter Mitwirkung von mehr als 100 Veranstaltenden, Mitarbeitenden aus Bezirken und Fachbehörden, städtischen Institutionen und Zivilgesellschaft wurde ein Entwurf erarbeitet. Die Handreichung enthält außerdem digital klickbare Checklisten für alle zehn Handlungsfelder.
