MULTI-LANGUAGE & FIRST-30-SECONDS COMMUNICATION
Nowadays it is no longer a problem to create multilingual messages – and still sometimes you wonder why there are only information available in the national language.
Especially when it comes to time-critical communication it is advantageous to have multilingual messages already prepared.
Translation Control Logic
- Identical sentence order across languages
- No cultural adaptations during incidents
- No idioms, metaphors, humour, or local slang
- Maximum semantic equivalence
Important: If a translation is not pre-approved, it does not exist operationally.
Weather related Examples for PA and screens
- PA messages must be read verbatim
