Description

Lapee is an award-winning urinal for women and gender-nonconforming people who squat to pee, for festivals and outdoor events. The product was designed on the ground at a large European festival, after noticing the major issue of sanitation access for women and GNC people. Lapee is distributed in more than 20 countries globally. Its clever design ensures a safer, more inclusive and hygienic environment, where users are private enough to pee quickly, and then get back to the show.

With Lapee being six times more efficient than a regular toilet cabin, festival goers are finally free to experience the festival as they should, without worrying about how to pee. Lapee has also received feedback from several events that they see an increase in bar sales, as the queue goes from the toilet to the bar.

By having urinals for all genders at events, women and GNC’s can finally pee safely, without needing to squat behind a bush, where they too often experience sexual harassment and assault.

Lapee is a small women-owned company based in Denmark, and the sustainable product is produced locally with recyclable European materials. So it can help festivals reach their environmental goals also, as it does not require water or electricity.
