Description
Maifeld Derby was started in 2011 by Timo Kumpf, a former musician who toured European festivals and always wanted to bring those impressions to Mannheim. Now, more than 10 years later, Maifeld Derby is one of Germany’s leading boutique festivals and a lot of international artists chose the festival as a gatekeeper to the German live market. Through the years, the line-up has become more diverse and ranges from Songwriter to Electro to Metal. Quality and true dedication instead of genre thinking. The festival lasts for three days and presents more than 60 artists on four stages. Besides music, local food and drinks are key elements of the festival. There’s a lot of music to explore, so it’s important to take care of the visitors’ well-being at the same time.
