Description

Open Flair is an open air music festival in Eschwege in the middle of Germany. Being located around the city center makes everything only a short walk away and easy to get around for everyone.

Our various sites provide a wide range of activities for everyone. The main sites (Werdchen, Seegelände) with our three biggest stages host the musical line-up. The main site Werdchen is home to two of our biggest stages. Attached to the site is a soccer field which gets turned into a playground and filled with fun games for every age. In addition, it provides shaded spaces, which give you and your family a chance to catch a break.

Our beautiful ground directly on lake Werratal offers the opportunity to cool down by jumping right into the lake, which you can access directly from the site. Most importantly, it offers our third-largest stage. On our smaller sites you can find non-musical program for kids and adults like cabaret and poetry slams. On all sites and the streets you will spot our walking acts interacting with visitors and putting a smile on every face.

If you don’t live close by or just want the full festival experience, you can camp at our camping site, which is close to all the stages and the city center. We offer different camping sites to accommodate different wants and needs. The camping ground opens a day early so you can pitch your tent or park your caravan and set your place before the festival starts.

To be able to pull off our festival, we need a lot of helping hands. Every year around 2000 volunteers come together to help with the set-up and the dismantling. During the festival, they ensue a smooth process and help in various positions like admission, artist support, stagehands and more.
