Description

Provinssi (formerly Provinssirock) is one of the largest international festivals in Finland. Ever since its conception in 1979, Provinssi has called the beautiful Törnävä Festival Park in Seinäjoki its home. The festival takes place at the turn of June and July.

Provinssi is a part of the FKP Scorpio network, organized in cooperation with Seinäjoki Live Music Association (Selmu ry) and Fullsteam Agency. The capacity of the festival site is approx. 32,000 people. The driving force behind Provinssi’s continuous success lies not only in its multi-genre-spanning programme – presenting current international stars, cult heroes, classics and the up-n-comers alike – but also in the organizers’ will to renew and develop the festival experience year after year.
