Description

Rock for People is one of the biggest and most popular outdoor events in the Czech Republic, providing the highest quality music in a peaceful and friendly atmosphere. It takes place in Festivalpark near Hradec Králové, only 100 km east of the capital Prague.

Rock for People has been recognized annually in various magazines and readers polls as the best event of the year, receiving certification from the Czech Republic Ministry of Culture in 1998 and the Czech Grammy Award for Best Event of the Year in 2007 and 2000. Each year the program consists of around 130 acts and also features many non-musical points such as theatre performances, children programs, NGO sector, films, etc.
