Description

STRAND Festival is a major open-air music and cultural event held on the shores of Lake Balaton in Zamárdi, Hungary, one of Central Europe’s most iconic summer destinations. Set directly on the lakeside, the festival offers a unique combination of high-quality live music, beach atmosphere, and holiday experience, where concerts, swimming, sunsets, and social life naturally blend into one.

Founded in the early 2010s, STRAND Festival was created with the aim of bringing contemporary popular music closer to a wide audience in an accessible, relaxed, and welcoming environment. Over the years, it has become one of Hungary’s defining summer festivals, known for its strong lineup, well-organized infrastructure, and friendly scale that allows visitors to feel both energized and at ease.

What makes STRAND Festival special is its location and atmosphere: few festivals allow audiences to move so seamlessly between stages, the beach, and the lake itself. The event places great emphasis on shared experiences, freedom, and togetherness, creating a space where music lovers of different generations can connect. Alongside international stars, the festival has always been committed to showcasing leading Hungarian artists, supporting the local music scene while remaining open to global trends.
