Supported by YOUROPE, Future of Festivals in Berlin (DE) and FestForums in Santa Barbara (US) organized an exchange of festival professionals from Europe and the USA in 2024, with panels at both conferences. Below you can watch the recording of the panel “Learn From Each Other – US & EU Festivals” at Future of Festivals in November 2024.

Building on insights gathered throughout the festival season, this panel aimed to deepen discussions on European and US festival landscapes and share evolving best practices. Esteemed panelists including Fruzsina Szép from Superbloom/Lollapalooza and Marta Pallarès from Primavera Sound provided unique perspectives alongside US festival experts Jenn Yacoubian from Goldenvoice and EJ Encalarde from Festival Productions Inc. of New Orleans.

Together, they delved into how festivals can drive societal change and share best practices, fostering deeper collaboration across continents and propelling the global festival industry forward.
