YOUROPE invites all European festivals and festival-related organizations to join our initiative #WeVoteForEurope again. For the first time, we organized this campaign for the last European elections in 2019. The idea is that festivals all over Europe will call on people to use their right to vote in the European elections (June 6-9, 2024).

We feel compelled to raise our voices together again to strengthen and preserve a world in which we can hold our festivals in freedom. To support this, we created a simple, but efficient and easy-to-execute campaign for you, that can be rolled out through your festival’s own channels with minimal effort. We want to gain the biggest possible impact with a joint approach – all festivals release their message at the same time on the same day (Tuesday, 28th May, 12h). If that date doesn’t suit you, you can of course join in later.

Please email if you want to join, as we would like to include the name of your festival(s)/organization/company on the campaign page’s list of supporters. The more supporters, the better!

#WeVoteForEurope was initiated by YOUROPE, inspired by TAKE A STAND, and will be rolled out together with our colleagues at the European Festivals Association (EFA). The initiative is realized with the kind support of festivals Colours Of Ostrava, Das Fest, Maifeld Derby, Open’er Festival, Pohoda Festival, Rock For People, Sofia Live Fest and of course Roskilde Festival, who kindly helped us implement #WeVoteForEurope in 2019.

Last time, more than 100 festivals and organisations from 27 countries supported us. Please help us to make an even bigger impact this time!

Please also feel free to spread this campaign and its assets within your network. Festivals and organization from outside the EU (such as Switzerland, UK, Norway etc.) are also invited to support and share.
