The European Festival Conference is a conference, a gathering and a summit of festival promoters, dealing with all kinds of festival topics in an intimate format with a limited number of participants. It takes place every two years in another place, which is always far away from city centers, enabling a setting that is free from distractions and that allows to fully concentrate on the topics and people in front of you. The EFC is open to all those interested in festivals, whether YOUROPE member or not.

YOUROPE launched the EFC in Kals, Austria, in December 2015. The second EFC took place on November 22–25, 2017, in Larvik, Norway. The third and fourth EFC took place at the beautiful Mas Salagros EcoResort in Vallromanes, just outside Barcelona in Catalonia, Spain, on November 20-23, 2019, and on November 23-26, 2021. The most recent EFC happened near Zrće Beach on Pag Island, Croatia, at NOA Glamping Resort and Hotel Olea from November 21-24, 2023.
